Life After School !

School! A word holds plenty of memories, those classes, that hustle for the sports period, that one favorite teacher, 20 minutes of lunch break which was quite enough to have lunch do gossip and even enough to play, and in fact those punishments and lots of more things from over a decade which makes us nostalgic.

All we wanted in school was to grow up, get out of those boring classes, cramming for boards, and live an independent life. 

I wanted to live the life I saw in typical Bollywood movies:- Following my passion, Earning, partying, going out, traveling the planet , falling in love , and whatnot. I wanted to pursue all the things I dreamt of and live the simplest of my life. Though I was never good at academics, I had my very own dream World where I used to be perfect for everything I wanted to follow. I do know it sounds cliché! But that’s how it had been .

When school finally ended, with freedom came a lot of other things too. It hit’s you hard when you realize that you are grown-up now and it’s time for you to start to assume a certain responsibility. You make some goals for yourself, you dream for a job, of a career, or of what you end to do in your life. But I wish these answers came just easy as these questions do. But these answers come with time, a lot of hard work, pain, failures, heartbreaks, struggle, anxiety, fear as well. But all of these things give us lessons for the future. 

The next phase of our lives invites for the joy of new excitement and also scares the  s**t out of us at the same time.

After School, I came to know that reality is way different from the dream world. Almost every actor, astronaut, scientist, and artist I knew in class has totally different career choices now. Most are juggling with there own battles and struggles to realize what they need .

I read these somewhere "Going to learn was better than going to earn." now I can understand and relate these lines quite well. 

The people who were with us in school time, now putting their best to make their efforts worthwhile. Everyone has figured out about their life  Some are well settled in their business or some are working at a big company, some have opted their passion as their career (influencer, blogger, freelancer, photographer, etc.)  and then there are a very few people like me are here struggling, hustling each day, pondering every night and end up asking ourselves, “What the hell am I doing?”

But I think that is okay. One thing I realized that though it that life is not a race, many of you would disagree but I feel everything will happen but in due time. I know this age and this time can be very overwhelming. You start to lose patience, your parents ask you to get married or join the business or start something of your own. You become frustrated that you simply think it's better to accept the mediocre things! But the one thing you've got to keep in mind is to understand and know that what does one want in life? Sit down in the quiet and decide, where do you want to see yourself in the next five or three years (whatever timeline you want to give to yourselves).

Do you see yourself doing something within a high-end office space? Or you always liked the world to be your canvas? Or you think that the whole world is a stage for you to perform? Or you wanna capture everything? What do you wish for?

That kaash waali feeling! Chase that! Work hard and hustle harder but don’t give up on your practicality. Analyze everything, decide and judge for yourself and in the end, it will all be worth it.

Every disappointment, every failure, heartbreaks, every decision that didn’t yield results, Every exam that wasn’t cracked, will make sense. Just keep going, always look back at your journey, and know that you have come a long way but there is a long way to go.
